George Krikelas was born in Athens, Greece in 1965. He studied journalism and worked for 15 years as journalist and editor-in-chief in various Greek Media organizations (Mega Channel TV station, ΑΝΤENNA TV, Flash 9.61 radio).
Since 1995 he was engaged in the planning, incorporation and operation of several companies in services (Mentoring SA and Mentoring Consulting International SRL Romania); media (Knowledge Systems SA and DiGi Press SA); communications (e-Decathlon SA, Magnum-Opus Ltd and F1 Communications Ltd); commerce (MDG Europe SA) and Information Technology (Project On Line SA and Upscale Ltd). He has also served as strategic development consultant for various domestic and international corporations such as Smart Home Hellas (GR), IHG (Australia) and Astrea Consulting (Cyprus).
Today he is the President and Managing Director of MENTORING SA, one of the most reputed consulting firms in Greece. He is also member of the Board of Directors of Project On Line SA (a subsidiary of Piraeus Bank of Greece) and the not-for-profit organizations AS Nefeli and AS Prosvasis which are working in the field of social inclusion of people with disabilities. Since 2014 he is a member of ELEPAP, a non-profit organization which provides rehabilitation services to children since 1937 with six Centers operating throughout Greece. He was elected three times as member of the Committee of Business Ethics of the Hellenic Association of Management Consulting Firms (SESMA), a scientific association representing the major Greek and international consulting firms in Greece. In 2013 he was appointed by SESMA as a member of the “Board for Authentication and Impartiality” of EQA Hellas.
Since 2004, George has taught several seminars to young entrepreneurs and also attended a series of international seminars and conferences in Greece and abroad in the subjects of entrepreneurship business financing innovation, EU Funding and so forth. He is currently attending an online Master’s Degree Program in Leading Innovation and Change (MALIC) at York Saint John University in association with Robert Kennedy College (Zurich).
